Water activities are some of the most popular pastimes during the warmer months with waterways all around. Whether it’s the thrill of water skiing, jet boating or sailing, or something with a bit less pace like canoeing, a leisurely paddleboat, or just relax with your fishing rod.

If fishing is your passion, it shouldn’t take you long to find a spot in a local river or stream – trout can provide a tasty meal on your return to IMBAC.

Horse riding is also a great pastime for the family. Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of a ride through the bush with family and friends.

There is plenty of wildlife to see and if you are lucky or want to make the effort, the experience of seeing the wild brumbies running through the mountains is something you won’t want to miss – it is a feeling that will take your breath away.

For history enthusiasts, historic sites are definitely worth a visit. Some can be driven to by car, some you may need a four wheel drive, others could take some walking or riding, but all are definitely worth the visit.

Activities are everywhere and why not enjoy the thrills of a local rodeo, or if it’s something for the kids to use up some energy take them to the skate park.

For the shoppers there is plenty to choose from, and if you are looking for bargains after the end of the ski season you may come across some great sales.

Golf, tennis, squash and lawn bowls are also close by, so don’t forget to pack for these if you intend to be fairly active during your visit.
